Continuing in its efforts to close the digital divide among District of Columbia Housing Authority customers, dcConnectHome is hosting an all ages Technology Resource Fair.

The fair will be held on May 5, 2018 at the Southwest Family Enhancement and Career Center, located at 203 N Street, S.W., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will kick off Digital Inclusion Week, which begins on May 7.

Residents will be able to sign up for computer classes, find information and sources for low-cost internet options, learn about educational tools for children and teenagers, and play tech games to win prizes.

Invited vendors include D.C. Public Library, Connect.DC, Comcast, Common Sense Media, College Success Foundation, Byte Back, and more.

The Latin American Youth Center also will have job readiness and life skills training, job placement services, IT certification, computer instruction, GED preparation, and holistic support services for young adults.

For more information or to RSVP, contact DCHA’s Office of Planning at (202) 435-4463 or dcConnectHome@dchousing.org.
